Role Description
We are looking for a highly observant and detail-oriented QA Engineer Intern to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the final line of defense before our products go live. You will work closely with our development and project management teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications. Please note that our team operates on a 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM schedule to align with international markets.
What You’ll Do
- Design, write, and execute manual (and introductory automated) test cases for both web and mobile applications.
- Identify, isolate, record, and meticulously track bugs or defects.
- Perform thorough regression testing once issues have been resolved by the development team.
- Collaborate with developers to understand product requirements, features, and technical architecture.
- Assist in creating clear, comprehensive quality assurance documentation.
Qualifications Technical Skills (Must-Have)
- Solid understanding of fundamental software testing principles and QA methodologies.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with basic web and mobile application environments and debugging tools.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Academic projects, coursework, or personal projects that demonstrate a foundational understanding of software quality.
Soft Skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and a highly analytical mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically from an end-user's perspective.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate bugs and issues clearly.
- A collaborative team player who is eager to learn, adapt, and grow.
