We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to join our global Cybersecurity team. This role provides hands-on exposure to key areas of enterprise cybersecurity within a large, complex organization.
The intern will contribute to both individual and team-based projects focused on strengthening the organization’s security posture. In addition, the role offers exposure to data-driven and AI-enabled security operations, where automation and analytics play a critical role in threat detection and response.
As possible, a reasonable balance will be made between the intern's learning goals and the specific assignments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with leadership to coordinate efforts and resolve issues.
- Works with the department prioritizing work assignments and act as a liaison with other departments.
- Performs a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the department.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and events across enterprise systems
- Support vulnerability management and risk assessment activities
- Participate in incident response investigations and documentation
- Contribute to cybersecurity projects aimed at improving detection, response, and automation capabilities
- Analyze security and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, or potential threats
- Collaborate with global cybersecurity team members on cross-functional initiatives
- Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies
- Document findings, processes, and recommendations for both technical and business audiences
Learning Opportunities

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., networks, threats, vulnerabilities)
- Basic knowledge of data analysis, scripting, or programming (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity, data science, or artificial intelligence, through coursework, projects, or extracurricular activities
- Academic background or coursework in areas such as Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields
- Exposure (academic or self-driven) to topics like data analysis, automation, or machine learning concepts
- Students pursuing or complementing their major with minors or concentrations in Data Science, AI, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Curiosity about how data and automation are used to enhance cybersecurity detection and response in modern enterprise environments
- Willingness to learn and explore emerging technologies and their application in cybersecurity
