Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer with hands-on experience in building and maintaining ETL pipelines and workflow automation. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to Snowflake and Apache Airflow, along with a solid foundation in data engineering concepts, data quality, and reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and workflow automation processes.
- Build and manage end-to-end data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.
- Work with Snowflake for data storage, querying, and optimization.
- Utilize Apache Airflow to orchestrate and schedule data workflows.
- Perform data quality validation and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Support data modeling efforts using star and snowflake schema designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure proper documentation of data pipelines and data governance practices (including PII classification).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in ETL pipelines and workflow automation.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake and Apache Airflow.
- Experience in data quality validation and issue resolution.
- Basic understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
