We are looking for a service-oriented System Engineer to join our client's NOC team.
𝑹𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝑶𝒃𝒋𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔:
📌In this role, you will help design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure and cloud services while ensuring reliable and efficient system performance.
📌You will work closely with the operations team to maintain network and system stability, support infrastructure projects, and contribute to automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and service reliability.
📌Implement and maintain backup, security, and redundancy strategies.
📌Identify potential system issues and proactively implement solutions.
📌Perform root-cause analysis for service interruptions and implement preventive improvements.
𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔:
✅Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
✅Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience managing Linux systems, infrastructure platforms, or cloud environments.
✅Professional certifications in cloud technologies, Linux systems, or system administration are an advantage.
𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝑹𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒅:
✍Strong experience with Linux system administration, including troubleshooting OS-level issues, analyzing logs, and resolving performance bottlenecks.
✍Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and infrastructure management.
✍Experience managing on-premises server infrastructure, including hardware, software and storage troubleshooting.
✍Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as XCP-ng, Citrix, VMware, or AWS cloud environments.
✍Knowledge of storage technologies including SAN, NAS, RAID, and cloud storage solutions.
✍Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl for automation tasks.
✍Understanding of network infrastructure components including routers, switches, and firewalls.
✍Experience with version control systems such as Git.
✍Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines.
