We’re Hiring: Software Engineer - Odoo (Full-Time | Remote | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM AEST)
We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer - Odoo to join our client's growing team and take ownership of developing, customizing, and optimizing Odoo applications to support business operations and client success.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, HR, Manufacturing, Purchase, etc.)
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
- Integrate Odoo with third party APIs and systems
- Perform upgrades, migrations, and code reviews
- Create detailed documentation and provide ongoing technical support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with Odoo v17+ (backend and frontend)
- Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and QWeb
- Experience with API integration, Git, and Linux environments
- Solid understanding of business processes (Finance, Inventory, HR, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of hands on Odoo development experience
- Experience with Odoo.sh, Docker, or cloud deployments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Contributions to Odoo community or open source projects
