Job Overview

Cure Systems is looking for a motivated WordPress Developer Intern to join our development team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The intern will work closely with senior developers to develop responsive websites, optimize performance, and implement new features.

This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about web development and eager to grow their technical skills in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
• Support website updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
• Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to implement website features.
• Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for different devices and browsers.
• Help optimize website speed, SEO structure, and security.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to implement UI/UX improvements.
• Test websites and troubleshoot technical issues when necessary.
• Document development processes and updates.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of WordPress development.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and customization.
• Basic knowledge of responsive web design.
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems is a plus.
• Basic understanding of SEO and website optimization is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience working with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with web hosting environments and cPanel.
