Intern UI/UX Engineer

𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗜/𝗨𝗫 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 – 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲

This is a full-time, remote role for a UI/UX Engineer Intern located in Sri Lanka. The intern will assist in designing intuitive, engaging, and user centered digital experiences for web and mobile applications. Daily responsibilities include supporting UI design creation, improving user journeys, developing wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with developers and product teams to enhance overall user experience. The intern will also contribute to design systems and assist in research-driven design improvements.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

▪️ Assist in creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
▪️ Support user research and usability testing activities
▪️ Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency
▪️ Help maintain and improve the company’s design system
▪️ Assist in improving UI for web and mobile applications
▪️ Contribute creative ideas to enhance user engagement and experience

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

▪️ Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Design, IT, Software Engineering, Multimedia, or a related field
▪️ Strong interest in UI/UX design and digital product development
▪️ Good communication skills in English
▪️ Strong attention to detail and creativity
▪️ Ability to work remotely and collaborate with a team

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀

▪️ Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Rive, Framer, and Sketch
▪️ Understanding of UI/UX principles, typography, color theory, and layout design
▪️ Ability to create responsive and user-centered designs
▪️ Basic knowledge of interaction design and prototyping
▪️ Familiarity with AI-powered design tools
▪️ Strong problem-solving skills and creativity
▪️ Self-motivation and teamwork

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 (𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹)

▪️ Any academic projects, freelance work, or internships related to UI/UX
▪️ Experience working with real client projects
▪️ Basic understanding of front-end concepts (HTML/CSS is a plus)
