We are seeking a technically skilled, self-driven Cloud and DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to build, automate, and maintain our SaaS applications infrastructure. Responsibilities:
· Design and implement scalable automation strategies for cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes
· Manage and maintain diverse product environments (Development, QA, Staging, Production) with automated provisioning
· Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for web, desktop, and mobile applications (Android, iOS, Chrome Extensions)
· Implement and maintain high-availability infrastructure with comprehensive failover strategies and data integrity assurance
· Design observability solutions with dashboards, real-time alerting, and proactive infrastructure risk monitoring
· Manage monitoring and logging tools, permissions, and system configurations with security-first practices
· Enforce security policies and best practices across cloud infrastructure and development environments
· Evaluate and optimize cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining performance and reliability
· Mentor and support junior team members in cloud and DevOps practices
· Collaborate with product engineering teams and work independently on assigned responsibilities
· Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in cloud and DevOps
Required Skills & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with strong academic track record
· 3+ years of professional DevOps and cloud engineering experience in a reputable organization
· Currently practicing modern DevOps methodology
· Expertise in Kubernetes (essential)
· Strong Linux/Ubuntu administration skills
· Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
Technical Skills:
· Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Bitbucket Pipelines)
· Expert knowledge of source code management (Git, GitHub, BitBucket)
· In-depth experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
· Docker and microservices architecture experience
· Scripting proficiency in at least one language (Shell, Python, PowerShell)
· Database knowledge including SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB administration experience a plus)
· Messaging systems administration (Kafka experience preferred)
· REST API and React.js familiarity (valued but not required)
Additional Qualifications:
· Cloud and network security best practices with associated testing methodologies
· Knowledge of Agile development methodology and SDLC
· Experience with Talos Linux, Proxmox, and WireGuard (a plus)
· Relevant industry certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, etc.)
