We Are Hiring: Associate Software Engineer
MudCrafts (Pvt) Ltd, the Sri Lankan entity of MudCrafts Canada, is expanding the development team and is currently seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our growing technology division. This role is ideal for early-career developers who are passionate about building modern web applications and contributing to scalable digital solutions for international and local clients.

We are particularly interested in candidates currently residing in or willing to work in the Kandy area.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications and backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions
• Build and maintain APIs and integrate third-party services
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best development practices
• Participate in debugging, testing, and performance optimization of applications
• Explore and contribute to implementations involving cloud platforms and AI-related technologies where relevant
Technical Requirements
• 1–2 years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as PHP, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or React
• Experience working with frameworks such as Laravel, React, or Next.js
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and system integration practices
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Exposure to cloud platforms or AI-related technologies will be considered an advantage
Educational Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
