Our client, who is seeking a AI/ML Engineer and AI Fullstack Engineer to serve as a founding-level builder. You will bridge the gap between generative AI (LLMs) and predictive decision science to build a category-defining, agentic platform. You will design core architectures that not only understand language but also optimize for outcomes using statistical reasoning and causal inference.
Key Responsibilities
- Agentic Orchestration: Develop LLM-driven applications and workflow automation using LangChain, Haystack, and LangGraph.
- Decision Science: Implement causal inference and uplift modeling to ensure AI agents make optimal, data-driven decisions.
- Core Fullstack Development: Build high-performance, scalable microservices and event-driven architectures using Python (FastAPI), Java, or Node.js.
- Search & Retrieval: Optimize data retrieval models using Vector DBs (Pinecone, Milvus), RAG, and semantic search techniques like HyDE and MMR.
- Founding Ownership: Take full ownership of the product lifecycle—from designing architecture with the CTO to shipping production-ready code weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5 to 8+ years of experience in production software engineering and ML.
- Generative AI: Deep expertise in GenAI, LLMs, and NLP.
- Statistical ML: Proficiency in scikit-learn, pandas/NumPy, and Statsmodels for treatment effect estimation and experimentation frameworks.
- Tech Stack: * Backend: Python (FastAPI), Redis, Postgres.
- Frontend: React.js or Angular with TypeScript.
- DevOps/MLOps: Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based AI solutions (AWS/GCP).
- Mindset: A "builder" who thrives in ambiguity and prioritizes practical, production-oriented solutions over pure research.
