About The Role

As a senior member of the core platform team at Moveworks, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our conversational AI platform. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure platform components that serve as the foundation for our enterprise products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product management, user experience, customer success, and machine learning—to identify needs, define technical solutions, and implement innovative features. Your expertise will influence the platform roadmap, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business goals. The role demands a high degree of ownership, a passion for engineering excellence, and a drive to challenge the status quo. You will participate in peer code reviews and engineering design discussions, fostering a culture of quality and innovation. Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in designing, building, shipping, and maintaining enterprise products or platforms
  • B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
  • Extensive experience with API-based platform development and integration, including REST and RPC systems
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining microservices using Python, Golang, Java, or C++
  • Strong understanding of scalable architecture, security, and performance optimization
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • High motivation, ownership, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Curiosity about engineering beyond immediate responsibilities and a continuous learning mindset
  • Openness to feedback and collaborative problem-solving approach

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop highly reliable, performant, and secure platform components that support enterprise AI solutions
  • Influence the platform team roadmap and oversee the evolution of multiple platform areas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide scalable, cross-cutting technical solutions
  • Deliver high-quality, deadline-sensitive work that integrates seamlessly with other engineering efforts
  • Identify opportunities for platform improvements and implement continuous enhancements
  • Participate in peer code reviews and technical design discussions to uphold engineering standards
  • Build foundational frameworks and services that abstract product needs and facilitate scalability
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data platforms supporting various product functionalities
