Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Management Trainee - Business Development role, based in Colombo. The Management Trainee will contribute to lead generation, market research, and customer engagement. Responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, conducting in-depth market research, building relationships with clients, and contributing to business growth strategies. The role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies.
- Support to conduct market research and identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer solutions.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare reports.
- Participate in training programs and field activities.
- Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret data to identify business opportunities
- Excellent Communication skills for client interactions and presentations
- Experience or knowledge in Lead Generation and Market Research
- Proficient in Customer Service and maintaining client relationships
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in business development is a plus
