Job description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Intern – IT System Administrator to join our team. As an Intern – IT System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IT infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with our development team to identify issues and execute actions to guarantee the delivery excellent internal support service.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in troubleshooting system and network issues.
· Support in configuring and managing firewalls, routers, and other network devices.
· Participate in maintaining LAN, WAN, and overall network infrastructure.
· Provide hardware support, including diagnostics and repairs.
Requirements:
· Following a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
· Certification in IT Networking or IT Hardware (e.g., CCNA or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
· Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, and network infrastructure).
· Good knowledge of computer hardware.
· Familiarity with Windows server configuration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Radius, user/group management, group policies and VPN technologies).
· Awareness of virtualization technologies such as VMWare, Hyper-V)
· Experience in firewall and router configuration will be beneficial.
· Basic skills in Linux and Windows server administration are a plus
