Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely posting of transactions
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting and preparation of schedules
- Assist in the preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support documentation, implementation, and compliance with Finance SOPs
- Assist in fixed asset accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and asset tagging
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register and related supporting documentation
- Assist in preparation of audit schedules and finance-related documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure proper filing and record-keeping in line with internal control requirements
- Candidates currently following CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA / University degree in Finance or Accounting
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively within a team
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
