CopperPoint has an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineering Intern in Seattle, WA or Phoenix, AZ. This 12-week paid program offers hands-on corporate experience, meaningful exposure to day-to-day operations, and valuable preparation for a future career at CopperPoint.
This Data Engineering internship will provide hands-on experience supporting the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms. Interns will work with real-world Enterprise Data Warehouses and modern cloud data platforms while gaining exposure to enterprise data engineering best practices.
In your role, you will support the Information Technology team by:
- Assist in building and maintaining data ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Work with structured and semi-structured data
- Support ETL / ELT workflows using SQL and Python
- Participate in data quality checks and validation
- Document data pipelines and schemas
- Support performance tuning and optimization
- Collaborating in Agile Execution
