Minimum 2–3 years of relevant business development or sales experience
We are seeking a dynamic and articulate Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive the growth of our Patient Management Software across Sri Lanka. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in medical, doctor-facing, or healthcare-related sales, excellent English communication skills, and a strong passion for building long-term customer relationships.
This role focuses not only on closing deals but also on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing prospects, and expanding our presence in the healthcare ecosystem.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with doctors, clinics, hospitals, and healthcare institutions
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and detailed discussions on the software
- Understand client workflows and position the patient management software as a value-driven solution
- Manage the complete business development cycle: lead generation → follow-up → negotiation → closure
- Achieve assigned revenue and growth targets
- Work closely with internal teams to share market insights and customer feedback
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
- Represent the company professionally at meetings, events, and field visits
- 2–3 years of proven experience in business development or sales
- Mandatory experience in medical sales, pharmaceutical sales, doctor detailing, or healthcare-related sales
- Very strong proficiency in English (spoken and written) – critical requirement
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive
- Willingness to learn and sell technology-based healthcare solutions
- Clear aspiration to grow, take ownership, and scale business relationships
- Experience selling software, SaaS, or digital healthcare products
- Existing network within the medical or healthcare community in Sri Lanka
- Understanding of clinic, hospital, or healthcare operational workflows
