Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Software Engineer, based in Colombo. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end systems, creating scalable and efficient software solutions, and ensuring optimal performance of programs. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting issues, and writing clean, efficient code using programming best practices. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers and contributing to overall system architecture and project success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python (OOP, libraries like unittest, pytest, requests, pandas, etc.)
- Familiarity with browser automation, handling dynamic elements, and cross-browser testing
- Experience with test modules like Pytest, Robot Framework, or Behave
- Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or libraries like requests/httpx
- Experience in version control systems (e.g., Git, BitBucket)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms
- Familiarity with BDD and EDD strategy planning
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing will be an added advantage
- Having 01-02 years of experience will be an added advantage
