Role Overview
This role is for QA professionals who think beyond test cases. At Pelago, you will embed quality across the SDLC, enforce release standards, and ensure products are production-ready across markets, devices, and compliance requirements. You will work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to protect user experience at scale.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies across web and mobile platforms
- Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing aligned to business workflows
- Conduct accessibility and usability testing in line with WCAG standards
- Execute performance, stress, and reliability testing under real-world conditions
- Apply security testing fundamentals, including vulnerability scans and risk identification
- Perform cross-browser, cross-device, and localization testing for multi-market readiness
- Validate payments, KYC flows, third-party integrations, and data integrity
- Develop, maintain, and evolve UI and API automation frameworks
- Partner early with engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and prevent defects
- Track defects, trends, and quality metrics to support informed release decisions
- Support CI/CD pipelines by implementing automated quality gates
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience, 5+ years for Senior roles
- Strong hands-on experience across manual tesing, automation, and reporting
- Proven experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments
- Exposure to payments, fintech, SaaS, or multi-market products is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical mindset with clear communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
