Job Description
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Automation) with expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and automated testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through effective automation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, design, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver.
• Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers, and project managers to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Analyze user requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Write clear, concise, and well-documented test cases and automation scripts.
• Execute, assess, and report test results for both manual and automated test cases.
• Detect and analyze software defects, engaging with developers to identify and implement solutions.
• Stay up to date with emerging testing tools, trends, and methodologies.
Requirements and Skills
• 3-5 years of experience in automation testing for web applications.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and Java for automation scripting.
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber for test automation.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience in mobile application testing is a plus.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Familiarity with REST API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Knowledge of security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite) is an advantage.
