 Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Developer (AWS, React, Microservices)

Location: Remote or On-site (Sri Lanka)

Experience Required: 3+ years

Education: BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in AWS, microservices, and React to join our fast-growing tech team. You will be responsible for deploying, updating, and managing scalable applications similar to platforms like LinkedIn. A working knowledge of AI technologies is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage scalable microservices-based applications
• Use AWS tools (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, IAM, etc.) for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
• Develop front-end components using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Build and maintain backend services/APIs using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for streamlined updates and rollbacks
• Monitor application performance and scalability
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-quality features
• Integrate AI-powered features where applicable (e.g., chatbots, recommendation systems)
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (deployment, scaling, monitoring)
• Solid understanding of React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Proficiency in backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar)
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservice architecture
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration (e.g., ECS, Kubernetes)
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts is a plus
  

Nice to Have

• Experience working on social platforms, marketplaces, or large-scale SaaS
• Knowledge of AI APIs (OpenAI, AWS SageMaker, etc.)
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other modern databases
• Exposure to serverless architecture
