The Role
We are hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to manage and mentor DevOps engineers across multiple projects. You will be responsible for scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure supporting multi-tenant SaaS web and mobile applications built on modern tech stacks.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers across multiple projects
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure for SaaS products
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for ReactJS, NodeJS/ExpressJS, Python/FastAPI, React Native, and Flutter applications
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability
- Identify security vulnerabilities, implement fixes, and ensure compliance with security best practices
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to ensure smooth deployments and release management
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure) including networking, storage, compute, and scaling
- Participate in SCRUM ceremonies to align DevOps activities with project sprints
- Conduct disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and failover mechanisms
- Track infrastructure performance, incidents, and resolutions to continuously improve processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles
- Proven experience managing multiple DevOps projects and teams
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure environments
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automation tools
- Experience ensuring scalability, high availability, and security for SaaS applications
- Familiarity with web and mobile application tech stacks: ReactJS, NodeJS/ExpressJS, Python/FastAPI, React Native, Flutter
- Understanding of security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies
- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization skills
- Experience working in a SCRUM / Agile environment
- Excellent mentoring, leadership, and communication skills
