To support our continued growth, we are seeking an Intern Software Engineer / Python with ERP exposure to strengthen our development team and enhance our delivery capabilities.
Role Description
This is a full-time Intern Software Engineer / Python role with a hybrid working arrangement, based in Hokandara South with some remote work flexibility. The role focuses on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions, primarily for Odoo-related projects.
The intern will assist in writing clean and efficient Python code, debugging and testing applications, and implementing basic software customizations under the guidance of senior team members. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to learn and contribute to solutions for real-world business challenges, gaining hands-on experience in ERP development and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining applications using Python.
- Support backend development tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Write clean, readable, and well-documented code.
- Assist in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting issues.
- Work with databases and APIs.
- Collaborate with the development team on assigned tasks and projects.
- Participate in code reviews and learning sessions.
- Learn and follow coding standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Python programming.
- Familiarity with fundamental programming concepts such as variables, loops, and functions.
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
