We are seeking a Business Analyst Intern to join our consulting team. This role focuses on documentation, business process understanding, and pre-sales support. What matters most is your ability to listen, understand business needs, and translate them into clear, professional documentation.
As a Business Analyst Intern, you will work closely with our Functional Consultants and Sales team to document business processes, create project documentation, and support proposal preparation. You'll learn how businesses operate across different industries and develop skills in translating complex requirements into clear, structured documents.
This is a learn-on-the-job opportunity with a clear path to permanent employment for those who demonstrate the right aptitude and commitment.
Business Process Documentation
- Listen to clients and internal teams to understand business processes and workflows
- Document business processes in clear, structured formats
- Identify and document stakeholder roles and responsibilities
- Create user stories and business requirement specifications
- Map current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") process flows
Project Documentation
- Prepare initial project documentation for new implementations
- Create functional requirement documents and specifications
- Document meeting notes, decisions, and action items from client discussions
- Maintain organised documentation repositories for projects
Pre-Sales & Proposal Support
- Assist in preparing proposal documents and solution write-ups
- Document client requirements gathered during pre-sales discussions
- Create professional presentations and business documents
- Support the sales team with documentation for client pitches
Collaboration & Support
- Work with Functional Consultants to understand and document requirements
- Coordinate with technical teams to clarify business requirements
- Support UAT preparation by documenting test scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Strong listening skills — ability to understand and capture what clients and stakeholders explain
- Excellent English writing skills — clear, professional, and well-structured documentation
- Good verbal communication — confident in asking clarifying questions
- Analytical thinking — ability to break down complex processes into understandable parts
- Organised and detail-oriented — documents are accurate, complete, and well-formatted
- Eagerness to learn business processes across different industries
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Business, IT, Management, or related field
