We are looking for a Associate Software Engineer with 1+ years of proven hands-on experience in PHP backend development to join our growing team.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP (Laravel).
- Build and integrate REST APIs and work with Relational databases.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot issues, debug, and improve performance.
- Collaborate with the team on planning, code reviews, and delivery.
- Learn new tools/technologies and contribute ideas to improve the product.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Computer Science / Software Engineering / IT (or related field).
- 1+ year experience in software development (internship/trainee experience is a plus).
- Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and OOP concepts.
- Good knowledge of Laravel, MySQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and teamwork.
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Nice to have
- Experience with a frontend framework.
- Familiarity with testing, cloud basics.
