Job Responsibilities
- Provide quality assurance support to our weekly releases
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to come up with test plans, test cases, and testing requirements and estimate the testing effort
- Implement automated testing using open source tools
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs
- Perform thorough testing on resolved bugs
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Communicate and coordinate with internal teams (e.g. developers, devops engineers, UI/UX designers, top management) on releases
Having previous experience or familiarity with QA Automation is a plus.
Shift: 9.00am to 6.00pm
Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)
Job Requirements
- At least 0.6 - 2 years work experience in software quality assurance is a must
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Experience working in an Agile development process
- Attention to detail is a must
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- BSc degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a special diploma in Software Quality Assurance is required.
