Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Senior Software Engineer for our office in Jaffna. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems and software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, write efficient and clean code, and ensure software performance and reliability. Additionally, you will be expected to mentor junior engineers, review code, and contribute to improving software development processes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Computer Science fundamentals
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Programming
- Experience and skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Ability to design efficient algorithms and optimize computational performance
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Familiarity with FinTech platforms or financial systems is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience in a senior or lead role in software engineering
