We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) Intern to support requirement gathering and analysis for technology projects. This internship is ideal for fresh graduates or undergraduates who are interested in learning how to work with clients, understand business needs, and support software development teams in delivering the right solutions.
As a BA Intern, you will work closely with senior Business Analysts, Project Managers, developers, and clients. You will receive guidance and hands-on exposure to understanding requirements, documenting them clearly, and ensuring that what is delivered matches what the client expects.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements from clients and stakeholders
- Participate in client discussions to clearly understand requirements, scope, objectives, and business processes
- Help translate business needs into clear user stories, use cases, and requirement documents
- Ensure requirements are well understood by development and QA teams before implementation begins
- Continuously validate requirements throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with client expectations
- Support requirement traceability and ensure all agreed requirements are delivered before client sign-off
- Assist in reviewing deliverables to confirm they meet documented requirements prior to client delivery
- Identify gaps, ambiguities, risks, and improvement opportunities in requirements and communicate them proactively
- Act as a communication bridge between clients and internal teams to clarify requirements and resolve questions
- Support basic quality assurance and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities based on defined requirements
- Create, update, and maintain requirement documents, process flows, reports, and related documentation
- Use project and requirement management tools to track changes, progress, and approvals
Requirements and Skills
- Undergraduate or recently completed Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related field
- Strong interest in Business Analysis and working on technology projects
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Ability to analyze client needs and translate them into clear, structured requirements
- Familiarity or willingness to learn tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Confluence, Trello, or similar BA/PM tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to validate requirements against delivered outcomes
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and teams
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
