IT Executive - Cinnamon Lodge Habarana
Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner, with a portfolio of 17 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed Conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
The IT Executive will be accountable for executing the system administration strategy to ensure a smooth day to day business operation and effective user experience. You will be collaborating with Group IT to ensure security compliance is achieved and provide necessary infrastructure and application support while adhering to IT policies.
Responsibilities
- Actively involved in PC/ Server Patching
- Managing Azure tenant, including SaaS, and PaaS
- Implementing and updating LOB applications
- Attending to troubleshooting whenever necessary
- Assisting with regular infrastructure hardware and software maintenance
- Performing MS SQL Database Maintenance and performance tuning effectively
Qualifications / Required Skills
- 3 – 4 years of related work experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft platforms, including Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems in the Active Directory environment
- Acquainted with Virtualization, cloud computing, wireless technologies, mobile platforms, MS Azure, SCCM and Patch Manager console management
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Adaptable and driven to explore emerging technologies
