We’re looking for a freelance WordPress developer who can do more than just build websites. This role is ideal for someone who understands both WordPress development and UI/UX design, and can deliver websites that are technically solid, visually clean and easy to use.
What you'll do
- Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
- Customize themes or develop custom themes when needed
- Set up and customize WooCommerce stores
- Integrate payment gateways and booking systems
- Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security
- Make smart UI/UX decisions throughout development
UI/UX Expectation
- Design clean, modern and user-friendly interfaces
- Strong sense of typography, spacing, color and visual hierarchy
- Think through user journeys (landing → product → cart → checkout)
- Creatively enhance designs when improvements are needed
Who we are looking for
- A developer who also thinks like a UI/UX designer
- Proven portfolio of WordPress sites you’ve both designed and built
- Can work independently and deliver on agreed milestones
- Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
