A DevSecOps Engineer at LiveRoom (Pvt) Ltd is responsible for leading the integration of robust security practices across the DevOps lifecycle. This role involves overseeing secure infrastructure management, driving automation initiatives, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security controls within CI/CD pipelines. The DevSecOps Engineer collaborates closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery while continuously improving the organization’s security posture and DevSecOps processes.
Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Deploy, manage, and optimize infrastructure across AWS, DigitalOcean, Vercel, and other cloud platforms
- Implement autoscaling, load balancing, and high-availability configurations
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
Monitoring & Incident Response
- Set up and maintain application and server monitoring dashboards
- Proactively track alerts, logs, and metrics to respond to incidents
- Perform root-cause analysis and ensure preventive measures
Security & Compliance
- Implement DevSecOps best practices across development and deployment pipelines
- Manage IAM, secrets management, SSL, firewalls, and security policies
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans, patching, and configuration hardening
- Ensure secure handling of third-party services and integrations
Cost Management
- Monitor cloud resource usage and optimize for cost efficiency
- Recommend architectural changes and scaling strategies to reduce operational costs
Payment Gateway Management
- Oversee integrations with payment gateways (Stripe, etc.)
- Ensure secure transaction processing and compliance with payment-related standards
Automation & Process Improvement
- Build scripts, workflows, and tools to automate operations
- Improve reliability, performance, and security of deployments
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of combined experience in DevOps and security engineering
- Strong experience with AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudFront, RDS, Lambda, IAM)
- Familiarity with DigitalOcean, Vercel, and serverless environments
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Knowledge of Docker, basic Kubernetes concepts, and environment provisioning
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM best practices, and secrets management
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Sentry, Datadog, etc.)
- Familiarity with payment gateway integrations and secure API communication
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
**The position is offered on a one (01) year contract basis, renewable subject to organizational requirements and satisfactory performance.**
