Job Description
We are expanding our global business footprint and are seeking a Business Development Executive to support international market growth for an AI-native SaaS solution in the HR and People Operations domain. This role requires strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to confidently engage with decision-makers across regions, including Europe, the Middle East, APAC, and the United States.
As the first point of contact for many global prospects, you will represent the brand, articulate the value of our HR technology, and help build a sustainable pipeline for international expansion. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in client-facing environments, enjoys exploring new markets, and can balance relationship-building with commercial discipline.
Responsibilities
1. Global Lead Generation and Market Research
Identify, qualify, and prioritize new opportunities in international markets.
Build a healthy and sustainable pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, events, and professional networks.
Conduct market and competitor research, understanding customer needs and regional dynamics.
Support go-to-market strategies for new countries, industries, and verticals.
2. International Client Acquisition and Relationship Building
Initiate conversations with prospects through email, calls, virtual meetings, and events.
Build strong relationships with HR leaders, executives, founders, and operational teams across cultures.
Deliver clear, confident product presentations tailored to different cultural and organizational contexts.
Ensure a positive and professional client experience throughout all interactions.
3. Opportunity Management and Deal Support
Manage early- to mid-stage conversations with international prospects.
Conduct qualification, discovery, and initial product presentations.
Support proposal creation and commercial discussions as needed.
Work with senior leadership for final negotiation and deal closure.
Maintain pipeline visibility and contribute to revenue forecasts.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success teams to align client expectations with internal capabilities.
Share market intelligence and lead insights to inform product and strategic decisions.
Participate in internal discussions that influence global expansion and positioning.
5. Reporting, Documentation, and CRM Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on pipeline status, lead conversations, and market insights.
Ensure all documentation adheres to international confidentiality and compliance standards.
Requirements
Essential
1 - 4 years of experience in Business Development or a closely related commercial role, ideally within a SaaS, technology, or B2B solutions environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Confidence in engaging senior decision-makers across different cultures and regions.
Strong presentation and interpersonal communication capabilities.
Proactive, persistent approach to outreach and follow-ups.
Strong analytical thinking, market research capability, and curiosity about emerging trends.
Professional presence and composure in client-facing situations.
Preferred
Prior experience building or managing pipelines in a SaaS, HR Tech, or AI-driven product environment.
Experience working with international clients or operating across global markets.
Familiarity with CRM systems such as Hubspot, outbound prospecting methods, and structured BD processes.
Understanding of global sales etiquette, cross-cultural communication, and early-stage negotiation practices.
