We are looking for a QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in manual testing, automation, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be confident in driving quality across projects, building automation frameworks, and mentoring junior QAs. This role combines hands-on testing with technical ownership, making it perfect for someone ready to step into an Associate QA Lead Engineer position.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases
- Build, maintain, and improve test automation frameworks (web & mobile)
- Lead QA processes, mentor team members, and support best practices
- Collaborate with developers, PMs, and DevOps to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
- Review requirements, identify risks, and ensure proper test coverage
- Participate in release validation, regression testing, and UAT support
- Track, analyze, and report defects with clear documentation
- Contribute to CI/CD integration for automated test suites
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in QA (manual + automation)
- Strong hands-on skills with automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium)
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices
- Experience in API testing (Postman, REST/GraphQL tools)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
- Leadership experience—mentoring, guiding QA processes, or leading small teams
Additional Qualitifications:
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Locust)
- Cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- QA certifications (ISTQB, etc.)
