Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-prem infrastructure including networking, virtualization, security, and VPN services
- Operate and improve virtualization platforms and hybrid cloud connectivity (on-prem ↔ GCP)
- Implement monitoring, logging, and security visibility across infrastructure and cloud resources
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to support project-specific infrastructure needs
- Troubleshoot issues across networking, virtualization, OS, and application layers
- Ensure infrastructure changes are well-documented, secure, and production-ready
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with virtualization platforms (Proxmox and/or VMware)
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, routing)
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and UniFi network infrastructure
- Solid Linux system administration skills
- Experience with monitoring and SIEM tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Wazuh, ELK)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments, preferably GCP
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Zero Trust or identity-aware networking
- Experience with Citrix, Kubernetes, or container networking
- Scripting experience (Bash, Python, Go, etc.)
- Experience supporting customer-facing or project-based infrastructure
