Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in the React and Next.js stacks to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality, scalable web applications, playing a key role in the entire development lifecycle from concept to production. You will collaborate closely with our product, design, and backend teams to deliver exceptional user experiences and robust software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust, performant, and scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Architect and implement responsive and accessible user interfaces based on design specifications.
• Integrate frontend applications with various RESTful APIs and services.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability, troubleshooting and resolving performance issues.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and refine feature specifications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's development processes, tooling, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years of professional experience in developing modern web applications.
• Proven expertise with React.js and its core principles (e.g., hooks, state management).
• Demonstrable experience building production-ready applications using Next.js (including concepts like server-side rendering, static site generation, and routing).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and working with modern HTML/CSS.
• Solid experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

• Professional experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with advanced state management libraries (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Jotai).
• Familiarity with styling architectures/frameworks like Tailwind CSS or CSS-in-JS solutions.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
• Understanding of web security and performance optimization techniques.
