We’re looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to take ownership of an existing Shopify store, maintaining, improving, and scaling it for growth.This will be an onsite role initially, and once we get to know your working style and performance, we will offer flexibility.
What you’ll do:
* Maintain and enhance an existing Shopify website with some known issues and optimization needs.
* Work with various Shopify apps, ensuring smooth interactions and integrations.
* Own the product, from troubleshooting to implementing new features and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
* Collaborate with the founder and marketing team to continuously improve site performance and conversion.
What we’re looking for:
* Strong experience with Shopify, Liquid, and theme customization.
* Good understanding of Shopify app ecosystem and third-party integrations.
* Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience (ideally someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges).
* Proactive and responsible (someone who takes ownership rather than waiting for tickets).
Bonus points:
* Experience with Shopify Plus or headless setups
* Familiarity with analytics, A/B testing, and site speed optimization
