We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer proficient in PHP to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of our software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance PHP applications.
- Write clean, well-designed code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Optimize application performance and scalability through code refactoring, database optimization, and other performance tuning techniques.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall architecture of the software systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by QA or customers and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development and propose new technologies or approaches to improve our development process and product offerings.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on PHP.
- Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5 and JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
