The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Associate to join our dynamic IT Support team. In this role, you will,
- Provide technical assistance to internal users.
- Promptly and effectively identify and address software, hardware, and network issues.
- Install, set up, and troubleshoot computer systems, software programs, and peripherals.
- Collaborate with internal groups to ensure that IT systems, security, and infrastructure run smoothly.
- Refer complicated issues to relevant teams or external providers for solutions.
- Provide users with assistance and information regarding IT systems, applications, and best practices.
- Stay up to date on developing IT support technologies and trends to improve your knowledge and abilities.
- Follow business rules and procedures regarding IT security and data protection.
- Participate in IT projects and activities as directed.
- Create and maintain documentation for received issues and provided solutions.
- Visit repair centers as required to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintain effective communication with suppliers to support smooth operational workflows.
About You
- NVQ L4 in information technology is required.
- Proven 1 year or more of experience as an IT technician, support, or in a related function.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), productivity software (Microsoft Office, G Suite), and software applications.
- Experience with networking fundamentals and troubleshooting approaches.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate both alone and cooperatively in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with IT support software and tools like help desk ticketing systems, remote support tools, and monitoring solutions.
