Roles & Responsibilities
*Website maintenance & bug fixes
- Monitor and fix frontend/UI bugs (layout issues, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility).
- Work with backend to resolve server errors, broken endpoints, DB issues.
*Feature development
- Implement new features & add or modify modules for buyer/seller account management.
- Translate mockups into working UI to improve usability, navigation flows, forms, and page performance.
*Performance optimization
- Optimize page load times, image handling, caching, lazy-loading.
- Monitor and optimize for mobile responsiveness and performance.
*Testing & quality assurance
- Write unit tests / integration tests (as applicable).
- Assist in manual QA, regression testing before releases.
Preferred Skills
- College student connected to South Asian communities on campus
- Basic proficiency in relevant tech stack (Wordpress)
- Understanding of responsive design principles and backend web development
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail
- Willingness to learn, handle assigned tasks independently, ask questions
- Ability to contribute ~5-7 hours weekly to team meetings and task completion
