We are currently looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Intern to join our team and contribute to ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
Job Summary
Expernetic is looking for a Intern - Software Quality Assurance to support our QA team by assist in planning and executing manual and automated tests, identifying bugs, and helping ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
This full-time paid internship is ideal for undergraduates or recent graduates in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field who are passionate about software testing and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and executing manual and automation test cases based on product requirements
- Document and report bugs and issues found during testing using Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA Engineers, and Developers to gain a clear understanding of product features and functionalities.
- Conduct smoke and regression testing to validate core functionality and ensure that new changes do not introduce defects in existing features.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Perform API testing using Postman, validating endpoints, request/response structures, and data integrity.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot to write, optimize, and refactor automation scripts efficiently, ensuring code quality and maintainability
- Participate in daily stand-ups and Agile ceremonies
- Learn and apply QA best practices, tools, and methodologies
- Perform exploratory testing to identify unexpected behavior
- Help ensure software meets design specifications and usability standards
Requirements & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of software development and testing processes
- Familiarity with software testing concepts (manual testing, bug reporting, test case creation)
- Willingness to learn test automation and QA tools
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for quality and continuous learning
