Team OCTAVE solves JKH’s most intractable problems across industry verticals by building pipelines using Python and Azure data factory to work on one of the country’s richest data lakes, building and implementing complex machine learning algorithms that will impact millions of Sri Lankans.


Role Description


This role will support end-to-end Data and Advanced Analytics solutions delivered to internal and external business units. Responsible for managing changes to the advanced analytics solutions and reliability of production platform and will work closely with business and technical teams to meet SLA's.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Be the main Point of Contact for all service escalations from all stakeholders across business workstreams.
  • Identifying root causes and troubleshooting complex AA solutions and platform issues.
  • Risk and impact analysis of production changes.
  • Develop/Plan service delivery timelines and coordinate resources.
  • Provide direction by articulating vision, aligning with company and team objectives.
  • Manage and monitor SLAs and KPIs against contract terms.
  • Support with Internal and External C level presentations and develop timelines for support contracts.
  • Understand problems/use cases/service revenue opportunities for L2 and L3 support levels.
  • Identify and drive the delivery of Service Improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with core project teams, and platform team to ensure consistent standards of service delivery and support coverage.
  • Assess and evaluate processes, technologies, and team skill sets to identify gaps and partner with enablement teams on opportunities for advancement.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/software engineering or related field.
  • Basic understanding of service delivery or managed service-oriented standards.
  • Exposure to data analytics related projects is an added advantage.
  • Technical exposure to big data tools like Databricks, ADF, Spark, Python.
  • Exposure in MLE and AI is an added advantage.
  • Experience in any cloud platform (Azure, GCP, AWS).
  • Basic project/service management skills.
  • Customer centric approach to delivering Information Technology services.
  • Excellent communication skills as well as analytical problem-solving skills.
