DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to manage and support our company’s IT infrastructure across multiple cloud environments and on-premise systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud (GCP), and DigitalOcean, along with strong knowledge of networking, hardware troubleshooting, firewall management, and enterprise email systems (M365 and GSuite).

This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of handling both cloud-based environments and internal IT operations, ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient functioning of all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and maintain servers and instances on AWS, GCP, and DigitalOcean.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and remote access solutions (e.g., site-to-site and client VPNs).
• Handle network setup and troubleshooting, including switches, routers, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
• Provide hardware support—installation, configuration, and repair of PCs, printers, and other peripherals.
• Administer and manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace (Gsuite) accounts, licenses, and security policies.
• Manage Zoho Mail configuration, user setup, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure secure and reliable data backup, access control, and endpoint management.
• Provide technical support to employees both onsite and remotely via remote access tools.
• Monitor network health and security logs, identify potential vulnerabilities, and apply necessary updates.
• Assist in basic IP-PBX / VoIP configuration and maintenance.
• Maintain IT asset records, documentation, and vendor coordination for repairs and procurement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or Cyber Security (or equivalent qualification) is a must.
• 1-2 years experience in cloud infrastructure management (AWS / GCP / DigitalOcean) is a must.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, subnetting, and firewall configurations.
• Experience in Microsoft 365, GSuite, and Zoho Mail administration.
• Knowledge of remote access VPNs, IP-PBX systems, and endpoint security.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in both hardware and software environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Docker environments or cloud deployment workflows.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash / PowerShell).
• Experience with backup and recovery strategies.
• Exposure to WAF / load balancer configurations on cloud platforms.
