Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Cyber Security Engineer located in Colombo. The Associate Cyber Security Engineer will monitor, analyze, and secure applications, networks, and information systems. Responsibilities include identifying risks, conducting vulnerability assessments, implementing security measures, troubleshooting security issues, and ensuring overall cyber defense. Collaborating with the broader IT and security team to establish and maintain compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards will also be a key part of this role.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of Windows, Microsoft 365 and basic networking.
- Experience in Network Security and securing network infrastructures
- Expertise in Information Security management and compliance
- Knowledge of conducting Vulnerability Assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies
- Undergraduate or Graduate in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or CISM are preferred will be added advantage.
