We are seeking a skilled and proactive Support Engineer to join our team. This role involves managing day-to-day support issues across our Microsoft Azure and Power Platform solutions, while also contributing to project work as availability allows. You’ll be working in a dynamic, agile environment alongside a collaborative delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely resolution of support issues across Azure and Power Platform solutions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Logic Apps, RPA desktop flows, Azure SQL databases, Data Factory pipelines, and Power BI reports with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate effectively individually or within a team with developers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to debug, analyse, estimate, and build integration solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable, reliable solutions using appropriate tools, frameworks, and methodologies, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Optimize system performance by analysing and improving efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance and security.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation including design specifications, code comments, and user guides.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance development practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including Logic Apps, Web Apps, SQL Databases, and Azure Functions.
- Solid background in Power Platform, particularly Power Automate Desktop.
- Proven experience integrating with external systems and APIs.
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Git and familiarity with various branching strategies.
- Knowledge of secure development practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Fluency in English is essential for working with Australian clients.
We are an Australian-based BPO specializing in property management services. Selected candidates will work directly as consultants to the client. Working hours are from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM Sri Lanka time, aligned with Australian business hours. Public holidays will follow the Australian holiday calendar.
