Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Support Executive located in Negombo. The IT Support Executive will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting technical issues, managing network administration, and overseeing day-to-day IT operations. The role also involves maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, and providing training to staff on IT-related matters.
Qualifications
1. Attending to all hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
2. Visiting classrooms and offices regularly to check and confirm system functionality.
3. Collecting IT-related requests directly from teachers and staff, ensuring no communication gaps.
4. Maintaining a daily log of all issues resolved and pending items.
5. Reporting directly to the IT Head of Department (HOD) to discuss problems, solutions, and preventive measures.
6. Coordinating with the HR and Operations teams to escalate major issues that affect workflow or teaching delivery.
