What You’ll Do
- Build and ship features across the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
- Implement clean REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication/authorization, and integrations.
- Craft responsive UI in React (hooks, state mgmt, routing) and reusable components.
- Write efficient data models/queries (MongoDB/Mongoose) and server-side services.
- Collaborate via Git/GitHub, PRs, code reviews, and CI checks.
- Add tests (unit/integration), linting, and basic observability.
- Work closely with PMs/designers to translate specs into maintainable code.
- Document architecture, decisions, and developer setup.
Must-Have Skills
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with React and Node.js/Express.
- MongoDB CRUD, schema design (Mongoose), aggregation basics.
- Git/GitHub workflows (branches, PRs, reviews).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, async/await, promises.
- Clear communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- React Query/TanStack, Redux/Zustand, React Router.
- GraphQL (Apollo/URQL), WebSockets.
- Auth (JWT/OAuth), role-based permissions.
- Testing with Jest/Vitest, React Testing Library, Supertest.
- Docker basics and CI (GitHub Actions).
- TailwindCSS/shadcn/ui for fast, accessible UIs.
- Experience with AI/ML APIs (optional).
