Job Title: Data Analyst
Salary: Up to £35,000 base + benefits
Location: Remote-first (UK-based). Occasional travel to London/Manchester as needed.

The role:
We’re looking for a motivated individual with strong SQL skills to join the Decision Systems team. This is a great opportunity to join a growing start-up, where you’ll use data to shape the customer journey and decision-making processes.
You’ll play a key role in delivering strategy changes, providing data insight to inform requirements, monitoring the impact of changes, and creating alerts and dashboards to keep stakeholders informed in real time. You’ll also support the implementation of decisioning changes across credit risk, fraud/KYC, and customer onboarding, helping to optimise processes while working closely with teams across the business.
This is a busy, hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone curious, eager to learn, and ready to make an impact.
Required Skills:
- Strong SQL skills (joins, window functions, aggregations, transformations, CTEs).
- Ability to turn raw data into actionable insights, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and the confidence to ask questions, challenge processes, and suggest improvements.
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with decisioning data in credit risk, KYC, or customer onboarding.
- Familiarity with bureau or open banking data, APIs, or application journey metrics (conversion, drop-out rates, etc.).
- Exposure to dashboards and alerts (e.g. Grafana).
- Knowledge of the UK credit market.
Recruitment Process:
- 1st Stage: 45-minute conversation with the Head of Decision Systems
- 2nd Stage: 1-hour technical stage with Lead Analyst and Head of Data
