Role Overview

We’re looking for a Software Engineer Intern who is passionate about fintech, blockchain, and solving real-world problems with technology. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn by doing, work with modern stacks, and gain experience in building scalable, production-grade systems.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of Maash’s payment infrastructure and wallet systems.
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and front-end components.
• Work with blockchain integrations (e.g. Solana) and stablecoin rails.
• Debug, test, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers and founders on shipping features quickly.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of at least one programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Rust preferred).
• Familiarity with React Native, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
• Interest in blockchain/web3 technologies (experience is a plus but not required).
• Basic knowledge of cloud services (AWS) is a plus.
• Problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and in a small, fast-paced team.
