We are seeking a passionate and professional information technology intern to join our growing organization. This position will be responsible for assisting in creating and testing applications, providing IT support and training, and help creating user interfaces in addition to other tasks as assigned. Reporting to our Power Platform Developer, this role will support all our Affinity Group regions. Candidates can be located anywhere in the U.S. as this is a fully remote position.

What You’ll Do
- App Development Support
- Assist in designing and building low-code business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-driven).
- Help create user interfaces and connect apps to data sources like SharePoint, Dataverse, or Excel.
- Data Integration
- Work with Power Automate to build workflows that integrate apps with services like Outlook, Teams, SQL, etc.
- Assist in setting up connectors and managing permissions.
- Testing & Debugging
- Test apps for functionality, performance, and responsiveness.
- Help identify and resolve bugs or issues reported by users.
- Documentation
- Create user guides, documentation for developed apps, and maintain version history.
- Document business requirements and translate them into app functionalities.
- User Support & Training
- Support end-users with app usage or issues.
- Help conducting user training or demos for new Power Apps features.
- Research & Learning
- Stay updated on new Power Platform features.
- Explore best practices in app development and contribute ideas for improvement.
- Collaboration
- Work with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and planning sessions.
What to expect:
- Typical schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (up to 20 hours per week)
- Fully remote position
- Hourly rate: $18 per hour
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
- Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, hardware, and upgrades
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of Azure products
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform
- Basic knowledge of networking and VPN technologies
