Optomi, in partnership with a leading provider of cloud-based project management software, is seeking a Front-End React Developer to join their team. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of a platform designed to simplify workflows, grow businesses, and calm the chaos. This position is about more than writing code—it’s about creating delightful, functional, and accessible user experiences that empower teams to build amazing features on top of a solid foundation.
What You’ll Do
- Implement front-end features using React, TypeScript, CSS/LESS, and Webpack or Vite
- Apply and extend our internal component library, leveraging both custom-built and Ant Design-based components
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver consistent, scalable, and accessible UI patterns
- Contribute to usability-focused projects and architectural improvements
- Support testing efforts with React Testing Library, Storybook, and Chromatic
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design across the platform
- Take ownership of initiatives and drive them forward with a self-starter mindset
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, CSS/LESS, and modern build tools (Webpack or Vite)
- Experience working with or building component libraries
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and testing best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for usability and creating great user experiences
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with Ant Design, Storybook, and Chromatic
- Experience using React Testing Library
- Exposure to C# or back-end systems
- Background in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments
