Frontend Engineer (React) – Remote

We’re seeking a passionate Frontend Engineer with expertise in React and modern JavaScript to build web applications that make a real-world impact. The ideal candidate thrives in mission-driven environments, loves solving complex problems, and values collaboration and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build responsive, high-performance web applications using React, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
• Collaborate across teams to design and implement data-driven features, multi-step workflows, and user-focused interfaces.
• Contribute to backend APIs and services (Ruby on Rails or similar).
• Ensure code quality with testing frameworks such as Jest and Rspec.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and web platform APIs.
• Experience integrating with APIs (REST/GraphQL) and building complex interfaces.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team communication.
• Alignment with mission-driven, socially conscious, and inclusive workplaces.
• Exposure to Ruby on Rails or backend development.
• Consulting background

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (not required).
